  1. Doreen- It says something about you being considered for the awards. Congratulations on the Readers Award. Great interview because it us a better idea what you are doing. It is such an interesting occupation. Jealous of going to Hawaii. I love chocolate covered macadamia nuts.

    1. Thanks very much for your comment, Mina. So glad you enjoyed the interview.

Did you know I have a comprehensive chapter on ‘British Chocolate’ in the first volume of Chocolatour? I think you would enjoy it, and perhaps discover some new chocolatiers from the UK that you will really like. Have you tried Paul A. Young?

  2. That is great news; congratulations and all the best. What a great way to live; I bet you can rattle off all kinds of chocolate like Bubba in Forest Gump 🙂

  3. Hi Doreen, great interview. I hope you can include the recipe for the beet truffles in your next book – sounds so interesting, might even compare to the Guinness recipe. Those chocolate dinners sound great. Have a wonderful tour in Hawaii.

    1. Thanks so much for your comment, Lenie. I will indeed ask Constance Popp Chocolatier if she is willing to share her Manitoba Beet Truffle recipe in Volume II of Chocolatour. She is a terrific chocolatier with some very creative ideas. We are fortunate to have her right here in Manitoba.

    1. Thx for the congrats, Ken! Yes, I am definitely looking forward to researching Mexican chocolate. I haven’t been to MX for years, but back then, there wasn’t any good chocolate to be found. I’m quite certain that has changed.
